Mourad Ben Asker has 18 years of experience in aviation. He left Airbus to join the GCAA in 2010 and at that time he was Certification Manager in the avionics domain, working on various Airbus programmes.
He joined the GCAA as Certification Airworthiness Inspector and he conducted several audits against Part-21 and Part-145. In 2011, he joined the department of GCAA in charge of policies, regulation and standards. As specialist and then as manager, he is actively engaged in the development and interpretation of rules and standards including Audit standards for GCAA Inspectors. Mourad still carries out audit for benefit of support the current inspectorate department of the GCAA and also to observe the need of inspectors when in the field.
