This course provides an understanding of human factors concepts in maintenance such as physical, psychological capabilities and limitations, and how applying human factors knowledge can optimize performance on real-world aviation platforms. It embraces how technology can be shaped to benefit human performance and includes information on how the human body works, and appreciate how information is processed for better understanding. Specific topics include the effects of ambient conditions, stimulus response compatibility in a range of practical situations, and accidents. In addition, the 3 days course includes the Safety Management Systems topics in the aviation industry.
